Career Highlights
2011
Le Mans Series
Phil will stay with CRS Racing in the Le Mans Series for the 2011 season, his third with the British-based squad. He will again be driving a GT2-spec Ferrari F430, and is targetting a title bid in the new 'LM GTE Am' category alongside his co-drivers, fellow Brit Adam Christodoulou and Dutchman Klaas Hummel.
2010
Le Mans Series
Phil graduated to the prestigious Le Mans Series, staying with CRS Racing but in a GT2-spec Ferrari 430 in the hotly-contested GT2 category. A strong first season saw a best result of fourth place at Paul Ricard as well as eye-catching performances at Silverstone, Spa, Portimao and the Hungaroring on his way to tenth in the final standings.
2009
FIA GT3 European Championship
Having driven in the series in selected rounds in 2008, Phil graduatesd full time to the FIA GT3 European Championship driving the new Ferrari 430 Scuderia for CRS Racing. Despite suffering some teething problems with the new car, Phil secured a podium finish and several top 5 qualifying results during an impressive season. He also made his debut for the team in the GT2 Ferrari at the Spa 24 Hours.
2008
Porsche Carrera Cup GB
Phil returned to the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, this time to fight for the main title with new team Jota Sport. In a season which saw him take eight podiums and his first two pole positions, Phil finished fifth overall in the championship. He was denied a maiden victory after a stellar drive in the wet at Donington Park was spoiled by a controversial penalty dropping him to third after he'd taken the chequered flag first.
2007
Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup
Phil decided to move up a gear for 2007 by opting to take part in what is renowned to be the toughest one make sportscar series in the World, Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup supporting 10 rounds of the F1. It was a steep learning curve but he enjoyed the challenge making significant progress throughout the season, finishing with his best result of 9th position at the final round at Spa Francorchamps.
2006
Radical Enduro V8 Championship
Phil also dominated the Radical Enduro V8 Championship securing the title at the final round. He visited the podium on 10 occasions during the year, 8 of them for outright wins.
Carrera Cup GB
Phil decided to concentrate his efforts on the fiercely competitive one make sportscar series, Porsche Carrera Cup GB and it paid off. After 20 rounds he had taken 10 victories in the Pro-Am category and secured the title at the penultimate round at his home circuit of Brands Hatch.
2005
RADICAL ENDURO
Phil took part in selected rounds of the Radical Enduro Championship in the SR3, finishing 2nd at the end of the season with an unbeaten record of 14 wins out of 14 races, inc. circuits like Spa Francorchamps and Magny Cours. He was also invited to drive the Radical Works 2006 SR3 in the V de V Championship at Magny Cours. This was a 4-hour race in which the team took 1st in class.
PORCHE GT3 CUP CAR
Taking part in one of the most prestigious sports car championships in the UK, together with learning to drive a different type of car was a huge learning curve for Phil. He made good progress and towards the end of the season was a front runner in the GT3 class. Another highlight of the year was a 4th overall in class in the GT250 Tag Heuer race which supported the A1 GP at Brands Hatch.
2004
RADICAL ENDURO
Phil finished 6th in the championship, with several podiums throughout the season. He also won the most improved driver award at the end of the year. Phil took part in selected rounds of the Britsports series clinching many podium finishes including a win in class.
2003
SN ROTAX MAX KARTS
5th Summer Championship with numerous podium finishes throughout the season. Competed at many Endurance races throughout the 2003-2002 seasons and took part in the Le Mans 24 hours on two occasions.
2002
JNR ROTAX MAX KARTS
Won Winter Championship and finished 2nd Summer Championship.
